FAQ

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. All conversion happens locally in your browser — your files never leave your device.

What is the difference between .doc and .docx?

.docx is the modern standard Word format. We only support .docx — for legacy .doc files, save them as .docx in Word first.

Will images in my document be preserved?

Not yet. Images bloat Markdown files and don't fit text workflows, so we currently output clean text structure only.

Are tables converted correctly?

Yes. Tables are converted to GFM table syntax, which renders in GitHub, Obsidian, and other GFM-compatible Markdown environments.

Is it free? Are there any limits?

Completely free — no registration, no conversion limits.
