Our policy

ConvertAny respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). Since all conversion happens locally in your browser and we do not store or host user files, we do not host copyrighted content. Nevertheless, if you believe that material available through our service or our website infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice as described below.

Filing a DMCA notice

To file a notice of claimed infringement, send us a written communication including: (1) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed; (2) identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it; (3) your contact information (address, telephone number, email); (4) a statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner; and (6) your physical or electronic signature.

Designated agent

Notices of claimed infringement should be sent to our designated agent at: DMCA Agent, ConvertAny, email legal@convert-any.org. Please note that the site is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure; where appropriate we will cooperate with Cloudflare's own DMCA process.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice with: (1) identification of the material and its location before removal; (2) a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification; (3) your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or the district of our address); and (4) your physical or electronic signature. We will respond to valid counter-notices in accordance with the DMCA.

Repeat infringers

We will terminate or disable accounts or access of repeat infringers where applicable. As we do not maintain user accounts, this policy applies to conduct within our control.
