Overview
ConvertAny ("we", "us") provides a free online file conversion tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we process when you use our service. The short version: your files never leave your device.
Your files stay on your device
All conversion happens entirely in your browser using WebAssembly technology. The PDF file you select is read into your browser's memory, processed locally, and never transmitted to our servers or any third party. The resulting Markdown is generated on your device, and you download it directly from the browser.
Information we do not collect
We do not require an account, we do not ask for your name or email address, and we do not collect, store, or transmit the contents of your files. We do not use cookies for the functionality of the site itself.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics processes aggregate usage statistics (such as page views, device type, and approximate location) and may set cookies in your browser. The data is processed by Google in accordance with Google's privacy policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on or by disabling cookies in your browser settings.
Technical information handled by our hosting provider
The site is hosted on Cloudflare's network. As with any website, your browser communicates with the server to load the page itself, and Cloudflare may process standard technical data for this purpose (such as IP address, user agent, and request time) in accordance with Cloudflare's own privacy policy. This is limited to loading the page and does not include your file contents.
Third-party fonts
The site loads the Inter font from Google Fonts. When you visit the site, your browser may request the font from Google, which means Google may process your IP address according to Google's privacy policy. This does not involve your files.
Children
Our service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
